The Plastics have released a new single entitled “Between Hours”. “Between Hours” is a song about the time between the good times. It’s easy to enjoy something when it’s good but all meaningful things have peaks and troughs, if it’s real you’ll be willing to weather those storms but if the between hours are too numerous or too hard, it’s doomed before it even begins.
“Between Hours” was conjured up in the wee hours of the morning in a studio session. Built around a tactile and jazzy chord progression and a 70s funk-inspired bridge rhythm. Between Hours pushes and pulls like a clock ticking between moments of ecstasy.
