This highly anticipated event will take place in Johannesburg, bringing together fans and artists to celebrate the rich legacy of Motswako music and hip hop culture.
Maftown Heights Untold Stories, which premiered last month with the final episode airing this past Saturday, captivated audiences with its powerful portrayal of the history and impact of the Maftown Heights festival.
The documentary highlighted the festival’s role in elevating Motswako artists and providing a platform for their voices to be heard. The film’s success has reignited excitement and anticipation for the festival’s return.

Listeners got an insider’s perspective into the journeys of the likes of Khuli Chana, HashOne, and Maglera Doe Boy, and an understanding of the role the likes of Stoan Seate played in commercialising the genre of Motswako.
