In October 2016 I made my way to Aandklas in Hatfield, Pretoria for a lekker Jack Parow show. It was a fun filled evening.
Aandklas was pumping that night. I don’t think that I ever saw that venue that full in the whole of 2016 for a show. Picture this: Lot’s of brandies and cokes, lots of shooters, loud tunes and a whole lot of sweaty people (possibly 800 to 1000 of them) in a venue with a tiny performance area (about half the size of a football field). That sums up the vibe that was happening.
What do I remember about the Jack Parow show at Aandklas?
The evening is kind of a blur. I may or may not have fallen down at some point. I may or may not have had one Jägermeister too many that night. Only the universe knows what REALLY happened, but that I do remember having a good time.

Great news is that Jack Parow is playing two FREE shows in Pretoria over the weekend. One is happening on the 26th of January 2024 at Aandkas Lynnwood (the old Fokof Bar) and the other is happening on the 27th of January 2024 at Sowaar Bar (in the East of Pretoria). Only 200 people allowed. First come. First serve.
