Multi-platinum-selling singer and songwriter Calum Scott first performed in South Africa in 2018 during his Only Human tour, which saw thousands of local fans turning out to witness his debut live shows in the country.
His return tours in 2022 and 2023 deepened his connection with South African audiences and showcased the growing love between the artist and his fans.
Breakout Events has confirmed that Calum Scott will return in January 2026 for a brand-new tour, The Avenoir Tour. This leg of the global tour will take him to Cape Town, Durban, and, for the first time, Pretoria.
Reflecting on his past visits, Calum Scott says, “I remember my first time in South Africa, being blown away by the demand for tickets to my show—it made me feel so special! Every time that I have been back, I have felt the same love and excitement. Touring is my favourite part of my job, but touring in places like South Africa is just a dream come true.”
The Avenoir Tour is his biggest tour to date, including 24 UK and European shows and performances in the largest venues of his career so far.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Wednesday, 28 May 2025 via www.breakoutevents.co.za and WebTickets.co.za.

Latest Single: “Die For You” from Upcoming Album Avenoir
On the 23rd of May 2025, Calum Scott released a brand-new single titled “Die For You.” A tender and emotional ballad, the track is a heartfelt expression of unwavering devotion.
It marks the latest preview from his forthcoming third studio album Avenoir, set to release on 12 September 2025 via Capitol Records.
“Die For You” was written by Calum alongside Jon “MAGS” Maguire and Corey Sanders—the same team behind his 5X platinum hit “You Are The Reason.”
Unlike the more powerful, high-energy tone of his previous single “God Knows,” this track delivers a raw and personal sound that highlights the emotional depth of his songwriting.
More info about Avenoir
The upcoming album Avenoir follows Calum’s critically acclaimed sophomore album Bridges, which featured tracks like “Rise,” “Biblical,” and “If You Ever Change Your Mind.” Only Human, his debut album, also featured fan favourites such as the platinum-certified “You Are The Reason” and the Brit Award-nominated cover of Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own.”
With over 10 billion global streams, Calum’s music has soundtracked moments of joy, loss, love, and celebration for fans around the world.
Avenoir takes its name from a word in John Koenig’s The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, describing “the desire that memory could flow backward.”
Reflecting on the title, Calum shares: “We move through life like a rower: always moving forward, but facing backward—seeing where we’ve been, but not where we’re going.”
He adds, “The songs on this album speak to both regret and sorrow, and to undying love—a plea to live life to its fullest. Avenoir challenges all of us to live in the present, serving as a reminder that the not knowing is what makes life terrifying, but also magical.”
With Calum Scott’s reputation for delivering emotionally rich, vocally stunning performances, The Avenoir Tour is set to be one of the most anticipated live music events of 2026 in South Africa. Secure your tickets early and be part of this unforgettable experience.
