Money Badoo is a versatile rapper, singer, songwriter, stylist, and creative director hailing from Ennerdale, South Africa. Raised in various parts of Johannesburg, her diverse background shines through in both her music and fashion, where she blends abstract creativity with relatable themes. Her musical journey began at 12, singing in church, before transitioning into writing poetry and rapping.
Her career gained momentum with the release of her debut single “All My Friends” in 2019, a track that caught the attention of industry leaders like Ebro, who featured it on ‘The Ebro Show’ on Apple Music. In 2020, she collaborated with friend and artist Sauwcy to release the trap EP MK-Ultra.
Since then, Money Badoo has worked with some of South Africa’s rising stars, including Blxckie, lordkez, and Doowap, solidifying her place in the industry with her debut projectPORN$TAR. She followed this success with a joint EP alongside producer NOTBENJAMIN, titled CI2TG (Charge It 2 The Game)*.
Beyond her music career, Money Badoo is an accomplished stylist, visual artist, and photographer. She gained national attention by winning Canon’s reality series “Picture Perfect,” showcasing her talents behind the camera. This victory opened doors for collaborations with leading fashion brands like Mugler, H&M, and Puma.
