South African rock band Future Radio returns with their explosive new single “It’s Not Over,” a bold and unapologetic pop-rock statement about standing your ground when life or people try to break you down.
“It’s Not Over” is an energetic fusion of pop, pop-rock, pop-punk, and new wave, infused with indie rock and electropop influences. With its driving beat and chant-like hook – “It’s not over, not over till I say that” – the track channels a playful but defiant attitude.

It becomes a battle cry for self-respect and empowerment, especially for those who’ve been underestimated or treated unfairly. What begins as raw frustration transforms into determination, resolve, and refusal to be pushed aside.
Johnny Late, Future Radio’s frontman and songwriter, describes the single as a stand against bullies and anyone who believes they can walk over others. “One of the things I hate most is bullies,” Johnny says. “No one has the right to treat someone else badly.
This song started as that, a line in the sand. It’s about saying, ‘You might have won the battle, but the war just started.’ It’s fun, it’s defiant, and it was an absolute blast to make.”
The track was self-produced by Future Radio and mixed and mastered by Joshua Oosthuizen from Blue Mountain Industries in Canada. The band is backing the release with a full-scale promotional rollout, including a radio campaign, music video, single launch, lyric video, remix, live version, and an extensive social media push.
