Singer-songwriter Archi returns with his powerful new single “Glass”, a reflective and emotionally charged finale to his upcoming album Throwing Stones.
Written, produced, and completed entirely by Archi himself, “Glass” explores the bittersweet feeling of coming home after change, when you have followed your destiny and realised you no longer fit where you began.

“I love the thought of following your destiny and how that can change you so much that you no longer belong where you came from,” Archi explains.
As the final track on Throwing Stones, “Glass” serves as both a closing statement and a rebirth. It is a song about transformation, growth, and the courage to evolve. “Writing and making this song felt like a breakthrough,” he shares. “It was the sound of stepping into a new chapter of my life.”

Known for his emotionally grounded songwriting and minimalist production, Archi continues to refine his unique sound that thrives on vulnerability and truth. His approach keeps the focus on emotion, allowing every lyric and melody to breathe. Reflecting on his journey through 2025, Archi says, “Work hard and stay consistent, never be scared to try new things. That has been the biggest lesson this year.”
Archi is looking ahead to 2026
With his sights set on the new year, Archi’s goals are clear. He plans to release more music, perform more shows, and deepen his connection with his growing audience. Mauritius-born and Johannesburg-raised, he blends alternative pop, hip-hop, and rock into a sound that is globally influenced yet unmistakably South African.
Having already earned over half a million streams on his debut and performed at major events such as Homecoming Africa and Cottonfest, he is fast emerging as one of South Africa’s most distinctive alternative voices. “Glass” perfectly reflects where he is heading next.
