“Sometimes people get so caught up in fighting their demons and personal battles, that they get lost and overwhelmed and find it difficult to break through and shed the light. This song is from the perspective of the other side, trying to break through and show someone their true value.”

2023 was a massive year for Learmonth as he released his highly-anticipated debut solo album, ‘Carousel’. Ross really came into his own as a solo artist and the stamp of approval was a successful tour that took place this past summer.
After sold-out coastal performances and a standout opening slot for Deacon Blue at Marks Park, Learmonth continues to captivate audiences with his magnetic stage presence.
His upcoming gigs include a series of intimate performances, including the sold-out ‘Who the F**k is Ross Learmonth’ show at Bioscope, followed by a repeat performance at Cafe Roux in Cape Town. Learmonth headlined the Clarens Beer Fest this past March and is set to host the highly anticipated Mother’s Day event at Toadbury Hall, performing alongside Easy Freak.
Looking ahead, this next phase in Ross’ solo journey promises to be an exciting one, with international shows secured in Dubai, London, and the Isle of Man, and potential dates in Australia and New Zealand alongside Arno Carstens and Ard Matthews. “A Home Away from Home” show series aims to bring his authentic sound to audiences around the globe.
With plans for new music releases, concept shows, and a full album in the pipeline, Ross invites audiences to join him on a journey of creative exploration and emotional resonance.
