At just 19 years old, singer, songwriter, and producer Max More steps boldly into the spotlight with his debut single “Stuck on You,” now available on all major streaming platforms.
The track marks the official start of a promising career from an artist whose voice is both emotionally raw and musically refined.

Blending indie pop with honest, introspective songwriting, “Stuck on You” dives deep into the emotional terrain of first heartbreak—when you’re left chasing the memory of someone who’s no longer really there.
Written from personal experience, the song captures the bittersweet contradiction of wanting to move on but still hoping for something that has already slipped away. “It’s about that version of someone you build in your head,” Max More says. “Letting go of that version is sometimes harder than letting go of the real person.”
While the lyrics hold space for vulnerability, the track’s production lifts the mood with an unexpectedly bright, indie-pop energy. “It feels like riding a trolley downhill with your hands in the air—carefree, despite not knowing how or when you’ll stop,” Max reflects.
A Powerful Collaboration With Lee Cole
“Stuck on You” was co-produced by acclaimed South African artist Lee Cole, known for his powerful ballads and refined pop sensibility. The partnership between the two artists allowed Max to shape a sound that is both authentic and commercially polished.
“Working with Lee was incredible,” Max More shares. “He understood what I was trying to say and helped me translate that into a sound that felt real and vibrant—something that really represents me.”
More info about Max More
Raised in a music-loving family and heavily involved in stage performance throughout school, Max More has long felt drawn to creative expression. After finishing school last year, he decided to fully commit to music—beginning with a single that lays his heart bare.
“I want my music to connect with people who feel the same things I do,” Max explains. “If someone hears this song and feels a little more seen, that’s everything to me.”
With its vulnerable lyrics, radiant production, and emotionally rich delivery, “Stuck on You” sets the stage for a compelling new voice in South African music. It’s an impressive first step—and a strong hint of more to come.
