Lukin Joshua comments on “Superhuman”
“This song can only be described as an anthem for the black sheep. The story behind what it means to be superhuman goes all the way back to being a teenager in a Christian high school, where I was picked on and judged for the way I looked as well as the music I listened to.”
“I would come home and hide away in the isolation that was my bedroom, wondering why no one ever understood me. It was only years later that I realized that other individuals felt the same way I did, misunderstood. And so it compelled me to put my memories into melodies, and the anthem that is Superhuman was brought to life.’
