Yolandè de Klerk prepares for a big break in New York City

Yolandè de Klerk also known as Lola Clerke is a South African Singer, Songwriter, Actress and a Commercial Model who is ready to take the world by storm. This multi talented 26 year old Johannesburger is currently on fire and is creating a buzz in the industry.

With music and singing being her first passion its no surprise that she took on this talent and now writes and performs, her music is very distinctive with Pop country tribal tones and warm rhythms. Elements of pop and country music are incorporated, creating a unique brand that is true to her.

Lola fell in love with Music at a young age, she recalls singing songs to the radio on her way from school which motivated herto take on singing lessons. Her biggest inspiration in the performing arts world is Harry Potter and this is where her passion for acting was born.

Yolandè now brings incredibly diverse skills and talent to the table and has enrolled in several courses both nationally and internationally and obtained different qualification in the performing arts industry.

In 2014 Yolandè enrolled herself at Open Window Institute where she obtained a Bachelor of Film Arts Degree, she went as far by sharpening her skills over the years in some of the best institutions in the world such as Pinewood Studios in London where she was trained by the one and only Tim Kent.

As a multi-talented performer this amazing actress challenged herself to learn both American and British Accents to boost her chances in the international market. Her dedication to the cause paid off when she scored a role in an international tv commercial for Ovomaltine. Clerke has appeared in several national soapies such as 7 de Laan, Binnelanders, The Last Days of American Crime and Lewe in Lubbe Straat.

Now Yolandè has the opportunity to show off her talent at the world’s largest talent convention called International Models and Talent in New York City. This after she impressed the prestigious international judges such as RhavynnDrummer who is a Senior Executive Casting Director for Tyler Perry Studios, Joey Hunter – The President of Ford Models for the past 30 years, Aviva Skall – Vice President of MMG Model and Celebrity, Nate Butler- Singer, Song writer and A&R for America’s Got Talent, Blaze Johnson – The Voice America Top 2 and the New York Film Academy.

Yolandè recently released her new single named “The Chance To Dream” that has been playlisted in different Radio Stations across South Africa. She is now working in her brand new song on the 18th of March.
