A singer, dancer, songwriter and producer, Pretoria-based TheInternxT delivers his debut single and music video – with a bang! Originally from the small village of Nokaneng in Mpumalanga, TheInternxT has been composing his own original songs, preparing for this very special day. The track was recorded at Cape Town Sound studios.
TheInternxT talks about the inspiration and theme of ‘Supacute’
‘Supacute’ is about a beautiful girl that can do anything. She tried to play hard to get in the beginning by having a super attitude but once she realised that I was so persistent she had to give in to the super dude. It’s a love song where praises are given to this super cute being and her entirety. I met this girl and I knew I just had to make her mine, I had to pull all the stops in order to get her attention. After a night out on the town she spent the night with a super dude”.
The release of the single is accompanied by the equally fun music video, which was filmed in Pretoria in front of a green screen by Tumelo from Thinque Corporate Solutions and put together and completed by Danie Nel Photography in Cape Town.
TheInternxT is incredibly eager for the release of his debut single, recognising those who have helped him along the way
“It’s been a long and difficult journey for me in the music industry. It’s finally here. This is my debut – the beginning of great things. Thank you to everyone who has been following me in the industry for the last decade. It’s our time now and it’s been long overdue. A special S/O to my dad Mr Patric van Blerk and his super team at CapeTown Sound for always being behind me, even when I dropped the ball. I love you all and please like, listen and share this as much as you can. Let’s get it.”
