Shaun Stylist returns with his second studio EP, Maison — a deeply personal and rhythmically rich body of work that blends emotional storytelling with the irresistible pulse of Amapiano.

Teaming up with genre pioneer Kabza De Small, the project’s lead single “Yiyo” (featuring T&T MuziQ) sets the tone with a hypnotic, groove-heavy anthem already making waves on charts and playlists.

A Tribute to Fatherhood, Growth, and Amapiano

Named after Shaun’s son, Maison is more than just a musical release — it’s a tribute to growth, fatherhood, legacy, and a profound love for Amapiano. The EP brings together some of the genre’s finest talents, including Mkeyz, KyD, ChillyboyRSA, and Sponge 101, offering a dynamic listening experience rooted in emotion and movement.

“This EP means everything to me,” says Shaun. “It’s named after my son, Maison, and it reflects where I am in life as a father, a producer, and a student of the Amapiano movement. I’ve poured my heart into it, and having a legend like Kabza Da Small on board makes it that much more special.”

    Charting Shaun’s Sonic Journey

Shaun Stylist’s rise in the Amapiano landscape has been defined by consistent, purposeful growth. From his breakout hit “Nothando” (1.3 million streams), to the infectious “Manje Monday” (2.1 million streams since its April 2024 release), and the soulful “Ekhoneni” (717,000 streams), each release has expanded his sonic footprint and cemented his unique voice within the genre.

With Maison, Shaun Stylist honours the genre that raised him while expanding its emotional range. From the haunting resonance of “Themb’itshe” to the infectious energy of “Noise”, the EP offers a soundscape where vulnerability meets dance-floor power.

This is not just a collection of songs — Maison is a love letter to Amapiano, a dedication to his son, and a milestone in a journey still unfolding.
