Keanan Eksteen is back with his brand new single, ‘Undercover,’ now available on all major streaming platforms. Known for his hit singles “Myself” and “Your Company”. Eksteen takes his music in a fresh and exciting direction with this latest release.
Looking to create a song that offered a touch of nostalgia while remaining modern, Keanan Eksteen drew from influences such as Fleetwood Mac and Talking Heads, blending them with his own unique style.
“I was looking for something new and upbeat,” Eksteen explains. “I wanted a sound I’ve always envisioned but never pursued before. This song has layers and elements we’ve never explored until now, with fun new instruments, harmonies, and structures.”

“The song all started with the bass,” Keanan shares. “I stumbled upon this groovy little riff. A groovy riff needs a good drum beat. But the real magic came with the ‘shooting star’ melodies we layered on top. It brought the song to life and made it stand out from our previous work.”
Reflecting on his musical journey, Eksteen views ‘Undercover’ as a testament to his growth as an artist. “This song demonstrates how we’ve evolved and experimented over time,” he says. “Each song teaches us something new to incorporate into the next one. ‘Undercover’ is a confident piece of work that reveals a real part of me and my vision.”
The new single comes just before his third European tour. “Third tour coming up! I am extremely excited,” Keanan shares.
“Each tour brings more growth, more experience, and gives us the opportunity to really refine our set and craft. I feel the pressure unites us and brings out our best, which is always exciting. Audiences can definitely expect more power, energy, and passion than last time, along with a few unreleased songs as a little cherry on top.” he says.
Looking ahead, Keanan hints at more exciting projects and releases in the pipeline. “There’s always something brewing in the studio,” Keanan Eksteen says “This single has opened up new avenues and broadened our horizons. If the world likes it, they’ll love what’s coming next.”
