Fuzigish have shared the video for the track “Believer”, taken from their highly anticipated new self-titled album which releases on the 29th April 2022 on Mongrel Records. The video, which originally premiered on alternative music media heavyweights Metal Injection yesterday is perfect visual accompaniment for riff heavy conspiracy themed track.
Jay Bones (lead vocalist of Fuzigish) explains “Believer”
“Lyrically Believer reflects modern phenomena such as fake news & the influence of social media. If you ‘believe’ it does that make it true and visa versa. Partly inspired by the famous Don Quixote quote “facts are the enemy of truth” and partly inspired by attention seeking conspiracy theories that roam the internet.”
“We have never made a music video like this before. Due to the general mayhem and overall awesomeness of punters at shows, the band has always relied on ‘live footage’ videos. Therefore, the making of a ‘concept’ music video was approached with both fear and excitement. It was like the first time you decided to step up and jump off a cliff into the lake. Loads have been before, and it was fine. So, you just do it and hope for the best.”
“If the ‘best’ is a visual overload, with a DIY astro man, a floating cosmic shark, several old school televisions, and a wormhole featuring a dancing hippo and chicken combo, then we can say that all went well. Will Fuzigish ever make a music video like this again?”

“Believer” has grown on me over the last few months. I’m really curious to hear the rest of the upcoming album. The music video completely does the track justice. I have a feeling in my gut that Fuzigish is not going to disappoint.
