Acclaimed South African singer-songwriter Cindy-Louise, now based in the Netherlands, delivered a breath-taking performance on Lift You Up—the prestigious international talent show by Be-Entertainment airing on VTM.
Taking the stage on Friday, 7 February, she captivated both the judges and audience with a stunning theatrical rendition of “Mr. Sandman”, elevating the atmosphere and securing her place in the next round.

Born in South Africa and now residing in the Netherlands, Cindy-Louise’s musical journey began at 16 with singing and piano lessons, laying the foundation for her classical training.
She pursued a major in Music Philosophy, specializing in Classical and Jazz voice, and further refined her craft at the Mediterranean Opera Festival in Italy—where she performed roles such as Despina (Così fan tutte) and Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro).
In 2020, she released her debut album “Humanity”, earning critical acclaim for its innovative sound and thought-provoking lyrics. Cindy-Louise effortlessly blends Pop and Rock, exploring themes of identity and self-discovery.
Her 2024 EP, “What You Made Me”, offers an intimate look into her vulnerabilities, touching on themes of anxiety and self-wellbeing, while embracing a bold, theatrical rock aesthetic.
April 2024 saw the release of “Whispers of a Kingdom”—an enchanting album that transports listeners into a world of betrayal, courage, and resilience, further showcasing her storytelling and musical depth.
Her powerful anthem, “Woman of My Own Damn Mind”, was featured in the hit TV series Devil’s Peak, resonating with audiences through its fierce message of independence.
Throughout her career, Cindy-Louise has been featured in prominent publications and appeared on international radio and television.
Beyond music, she embraces creativity in all forms, captivating audiences with her live performances and compelling visual storytelling. With her undeniable talent and magnetic presence, she is poised to make a lasting impact on the global stage.
