Breakout South African singer-songwriter Booshle G is wrapping up the year with his latest single, “Heavy,” the next offering from his upcoming debut album, I Was Never Alone, set for release on 13 February 2026.
After a landmark year, including UK and European dates supporting Neon Dreams, Booshle G is already gearing up for another European tour with Billy Raffoul.

He has also been announced as a headliner for Splashy Fen and will make his debut appearance at KDay next year. With 2025 as a springboard, Booshle G continues to carve a unique global path.
Booshle G’s new song is born from Pain and Perseverance
Raw, emotional, and deeply human, “Heavy” captures the weight of life when it feels overwhelming and the quiet struggle to keep moving forward.
“This is a song I wrote in the middle of feeling completely weighed down, tired, frustrated, and questioning why life has to hurt so much,” Booshle shares. “It’s my cry from that place, but also my reminder that the fire inside me is still burning. Even in the pain, there’s a way forward.”

Preview of the Debut Album I Was Never Alone
“Heavy” offers listeners a glimpse into the storytelling and emotional honesty that defines Booshle G’s debut album, I Was Never Alone. The 12-track indie/folk/pop record explores themes of doubt, heartbreak, healing, and the discovery that even in the loneliest moments, we’re held by something bigger. Fans can also expect to hear favourites such as “Best Life,” “Broken Heart,” and “Take Me Home.”
“This album is everything I’ve felt, everything I’ve lived,” Booshle says. “If you’ve ever questioned or lost your way, I hope these songs remind you that you were never alone, and you never will be.”
