    Majozi Old School Tri-Nations Tour

After more than ten years of shaping the South African music scene with warmth, sincerity, and his distinctive indie folk sound, singer songwriter Majozi is stepping into one of the most exciting periods of his career.

The Old School Tri-Nations Tour will take him across South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia, with the last two countries marking his first performances in those regions.

A Landmark Year Sets the Stage

This international milestone follows an extraordinary run. In 2025, Majozi sold out Cape Town’s Baxter Theatre with his intimate Songs and Stories show, toured through Europe with Easy Freak, performed in Abu Dhabi, and released the tender fan favourite “You and I”. From Germany to Ireland to the United Kingdom, he continued to build a global audience grounded in authenticity and gratitude.

    A Tour Built on Connection

The Old School Tri-Nations Tour celebrates that connection. It gives him a chance to revisit the songs that shaped his journey while creating new moments in entirely new territories.

Majozi describes music as a form of time travel, holding fragments of past and present. Taking these songs into new countries feels to him like opening a new chapter with familiar companions.

The Return of Songs and Stories

Each show on the tour will combine uplifting melodies, honest lyricism, and the personal stories behind the music.

The format is inspired by the overwhelming response to his earlier Songs and Stories performances, where audiences repeatedly asked about the meaning woven into his work. Majozi describes these moments as therapeutic, offering a rare chance to pause and reflect on how far the journey has taken him.

    A Setlist Filled With Heart

Fans can expect the nostalgia and emotional depth they have come to love. Highlights include favourites like “Darling”, “Fire”, and “Waiting”, deeper works such as “The River”, and newer additions like “Time Traveller”, “Safe in the Sound”, and “You and I”. Each performance aims to create a space where vulnerability, joy, reflection, and community come together for a memorable night.

    Stories From the Road

The upcoming shows will also feature new stories and memories from the past year. Majozi will share moments from European festivals, late night writing sessions in unfamiliar cities, and the surreal experience of stepping onto international stages he once only imagined. Bringing his music to New Zealand and Australia for the first time leaves him grateful, grounded, and excited for what lies ahead.

A New Chapter for a Beloved Artist

As he continues expanding his reach across continents, Majozi remains rooted in the sincerity that first endeared him to South African audiences. Connection remains the driving force. If listeners leave a show feeling understood or a little less alone, he believes he has done what he set out to do.

The Old School Tri-Nations Tour is more than a string of performances. It is a milestone, a reunion, a homecoming, and the beginning of something new. Audiences across South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia are invited to join him as he steps into the next chapter of his remarkable journey.
