Blues Rock rebel, Basson Laubscher brings you the last single off his rock opera, Testify, called “Bonnie & Clyde”. The song captures the chaos, thrill & freedom of a couple on the run. With its hypotonic guitar boogie, driving bass lines, and chugging drums, you will be headbanging all the way. The track paints a lyrical landscape of two star – crossed lovers ready and primed to go down in infamy!

With a building bridge filled with sirens that will properly get you in the mood for a showdown, the climax explodes with a ripping guitar solo that makes you feel like the car fully flies off the cliff to the delight of any rock n’ roll disciple.
The video for “Bonnie & Clyde” was filmed on location at the legendary Karoo Saloon Rock Roadhouse in the heart of the Klein Karoo and is their most ambitious to date. Filmed, edited & directed by veteran videographer Kyle Wesson, it captures the grit and suspense of a true crime vibe while not trying to take itself too seriously and to remain hilariously entertaining throughout.
Members of his band (The Violent Free Peace) takes on different roles in the video and it perfectly captures the rock n’ roll ethos of over – the – top fun and grandeur. So pull up a whiskey and hit the open road with Bonnie & Clyde now!
This has to be one of the coolest music videos that I’ve laid my eyes on in 2022 and it definitely compliments the tune. Basson Laubscher & The Violent Free Peace doesn’t disappoint (especially when it comes to music videos).
