Great News for SA Music fans! A new Bittereinder Music Video has been released. This Afrikaans electro / rap group who have described their music as “Rap ‘n Roll” recently released their second studio album.
Bittereinder’s second album is entitled “Die Dinkdansmasjien” and has received some awesome reviews in recent weeks
The album features collaborations with the likes of Magdalene Minnaar, Shane Durrant (of Desmond & The Tutus fame), Chris Chameleon, Tim Beumers (from the Netherlands), Hunter Kennedy (of Fokofpolisiekar and Die Heuwels Fantasties fame), Hemel Besem, Toast Coetzer (from Buckfever Underground) and many more. Jaco van der Merwe, Peach van Pletzen and Louis Minnaar worked for two years to complete this album.
Bittereinder played one kickass set recently at Synergy Live 2012 Johannesburg. They played many of their well-known songs off their “‘n Ware Verhaal” album, but also treated the crowd to some of the new tracks. They performed their song “Kwaad Naas” with Shane Durrant and completely blew the mostly English crowd away with their performance skills and stage antics. Every time I see these blokes live, they get better and better. No wonder they blew the crowd away at the Lowlands festival in the Netherlands last year.
As I said before, a new Bittereinder Music Video has been released. The video for “Kwaad Naas” (which was directed and edited by Louis Minaar) features a bunch of girls and okes hanging out around a ping pong table. The song is pretty catchy too. Check out the video below:
