Punkfontein, an energetic punk band from the Western outskirts of Gauteng recently released a brand new single entitled “Get Up”.

“Get Up” is a track that boasts a message of positivity and inspiration. It’s one of the first songs written by the band. The track definitely increases the excitement levels of listeners.
The following line from the chorus of the track sums up the aspiration of the song’s intent: “We’re built strong, we’re built tough, we don’t break when things get rough”
The track has been released on all major stream platforms and has been paired with an animated music video (which has been released on YouTube). Check it out below:
I know we’re only in January of 2022, but this track gives me hope for South African punk rock and I’m curious to find out what Punkfontein are going to throw our way in the near future.
