LA Cobra was one of the bands that played at RAMFest 2020 (which was held at the Voortrekker Monument) in March of that dumpster-fire of a year.

RAMFest 2020 happened on the Saturday before Uncle Cyril announced that South Africa would be going into lockdown for 21 days (which turned out to be a lot longer than that).
It was a fun-filled festival with a lekker line-up. The Black Dahlia Murder were the international headliner, Van Coke Kartel played a reunion show and it was also one of the last times that I watched Newtown Knife Gang.
LA Cobra played a lekker set in the late afternoon. I snapped this photo of two of the band members during that set and it has been selected as the Photo Of The Week on SA Music Zone.

LA Cobra are a rock band from Pretoria who have breaking hearts and melting faces since 2005. The band’s members are Don Cobra (on vocals and guitar), Slade (on lead guitar & backing vocals), Ewald Honey (on bass & backing vocals) and Callie “The Animal” (on drums).
