The new single “Holiday” from Cindy-Louise is a sun-soaked glitter-pop anthem built for beach days, road trips and the December holiday rush.
Created alongside her long-time creative partner CaliBeats (Callum Melville), “Holiday” blends glitter-pop melodies, playful vocal rhythms and shimmering production that whisk listeners straight to golden sunsets, iced lattes and coastal glamour.

“Holiday” celebrates freedom, confidence and the unmistakable festive season energy in South Africa. “It’s a very special track for me because it actually began as a solo project,” she explains. “I wanted to create something fun, luxurious and effortlessly chic.
A song that captures the energy of summer and the excitement of December. Growing up, December was always a time for holidays: trips to Durban or Cape Town, sunshine, beaches, and that unmistakable festive buzz in the air.”
The track first took shape in Cindy-Louise’s home studio as a playful experiment before evolving into a full collaboration when CaliBeats added his dynamic vocal parts.
“When I heard what he created, it elevated the whole vibe,” she says. “It was fresh, dynamic, and everything clicked – that’s when I knew “Holiday” had to become a collaboration.”
Cinematic Visuals and a “Main Character” Aesthetic
The final product strikes a balance between fashion-forward pop polish and carefree summer joy. The visuals, shot by Shaun Leighton (SLAM), lean into Cindy-Louise’s cinematic, style-driven identity, bringing her signature “main character era” aesthetic to life.
“This song is all about being that stunning beach babe on a romantic getaway, living her best holiday life: caviar, late mornings and iced lattes by the sea,” she notes.
Cindy-Louise’s Evolution Into Modern Glitter Pop
“Holiday” marks another step in Cindy-Louise’s move into modern glitter pop, dance and nu-disco, highlighting her theatrical flair and vocal control while embracing a breezy, contemporary sound crafted for pure summer escapism.
