Ben Rodrigues, who gained over 13 million streams on his debut single “Was It Real,” is back with a new track titled “One Last Chance.”
The song is already gaining traction, with its teaser video surpassing a million views. The release coincides with Ben’s first solo tour, the Is It Real tour. Following the success of his debut on major charts, this new single represents a significant milestone in his rising music career.
As someone who frequently draws from personal experiences, Ben Rodrigues’ latest single is no exception
“I had a brief connection with someone, but when we met again, she was already in a relationship. It was disappointing, but it inspired this song,” he explains.
The track is part of a six-song EP set to release in December, which reflects the five stages of grief in a relationship.
“‘One Last Chance’ represents the bargaining phase,” Ben adds. “The song has a folk vibe with nostalgic elements reminiscent of the early 2010s, particularly One Direction’s sound. I wanted to make the track feel like a relatable love story while staying true to my own experience. I even made subtle lyric changes to make it more personal and memorable.”
Ben Rodrigues continues to strengthen his bond with his audience, humbly attributing his success to them. “My followers are the backbone of everything I do. Their support pushes me to achieve things I never thought possible.”
With this loyal fanbase behind him, “One Last Chance” is set to become another milestone in his career.
Looking ahead, Ben shares, “I believe God wouldn’t lead me into a new chapter if I wasn’t ready. I’m more excited than nervous to see what’s next. This is just the beginning. As a great philosopher once said, ‘Pressure? What pressure.’”
