South African hip-hop artist X-Sirenn released his new single and music video, “1 ToucH”, on Friday, 6 September 2024. With a strong UK drill influence, the track delivers a powerful message of resilience and authenticity, spotlighting his lyrical skill, bold confidence, and relentless drive for success.

Discussing the creative journey behind the song, X-Sirenn shares, “‘1 ToucH’ came to life after one of my producers sent me a beat. The UK drill vibe really sparked my creativity.”

This influence is evident in the track’s sharp lyrics and commanding delivery, blending intellect with swagger. X-Sirenn further notes, “‘1 ToucH’ is my way of paying tribute to the artist I aim to become—one who keeps the critics on their toes.”

Furthermore, X-Sirenn explores themes of defiance, hope, and perseverance, revealing a complex emotional landscape that speaks to his personal struggles and triumphs.

He candidly shares, “I come from challenging times, but with my girl, my daughter, and my music, I will make it.”

This personal revelation adds a layer of depth to the song, illustrating how his experiences fuel his artistry. ‘1 ToucH’ aims to be a testament to his growth and unwavering determination.

    More info about X-Sirenn

X-Sirenn is a rising South African hip-hop artist hailing from the Vaal 016 city triangle, just south of Johannesburg. He started rapping at age 11, drawing inspiration from influential artists and labels like YMCMB, Ty Dolla $ign, Maybach Music Group, We The Best Music, and OVO. Early influences include Lil Wayne, Drake, Tyga, Chris Brown, The Game, Wiz Khalifa, Young Thug, Kanye West, and Future.

By 16, X-Sirenn dove deeper into music, releasing his own tracks. Initially captivated by Trap hip-hop, he developed a strong appreciation for old-school rap, seeing Trap as the commercial evolution of hip-hop. With mastery of both genres, he has created a broad and dynamic sound.

Since 2016, X-Sirenn has been actively producing music, taking a more professional path from 2019 onwards. He has collaborated with notable artists such as Emtee and Gully Seth and is connected to groups like Internet Society Gang, Wave Time Entertainment, Re-birth Studios, Money Films, and Vaal016.

Focused on gaining recognition while staying true to his roots, X-Sirenn aims to make music and art that leave a lasting impact, using his distinctive style to resonate with listeners around the world.
