Grammy-winning legend Ms. Lauryn Hill is set to grace South African soil this September, joined by Wyclef Jean, Zion Marley, and YG Marley, as part of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 25th Anniversary Tour.

The celebration includes exclusive performances at the DStv Delicious International Food Festival on Sunday, 21 September 2025 – a rare chance for fans to experience one of music’s most revered albums live.

    More info about Lauryn Hill

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill , which features defining tracks like “Zion,” “Doo Wop (That Thing),” and “Everything Is Everything,” was recently crowned Best Album of All Time by Apple Music.

Lauryn Hill is a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, rapper, and actress. With a distinctive voice and lyrical depth that blends soul, reggae, hip-hop, and R&B, Hill became a cultural icon in the late ’90s, redefining the boundaries of mainstream music.

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill not only earned five Grammy Awards but also cemented her legacy as one of the most influential and uncompromising voices in modern music. Despite a relatively sparse discography, Hill’s impact continues to resonate globally, inspiring generations of artists across genres.

Now, local audiences will get to hear these iconic songs live, in a festival atmosphere blending culture, cuisine, and unmatched musical talent.

Taking place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit over 20 and 21 September, the festival will pulse with vibrant experiences, genre-spanning performances, and dynamic activations across two stages.

On the Sunday, a soulful line-up awaits: South Africa’s beloved gospel collective Joyous Celebration Rewind will deliver their uplifting sounds alongside acclaimed alumni — including Khaya Mthetwa, the Idols SA winner and SABC Crown Gospel Award recipient.

Mandisi Dyantyis, fresh off SAMA and NAACP Award acclaim, will showcase his rich blend of indigenous African music and jazz, followed by Zoë Modiga, who brings her award-winning Afro-realist jazz expression to the stage.

With her accolades including Glamour Woman of the Year: Musician Game Changer and Standard Bank’s Young Artist Award, Modiga is one of the country’s most captivating performers.

Lira, the 11-time SAMA Award-winning queen of Afro-soul, returns to the stage in full force, fusing Afropop, jazz, and R&B.

She’ll share the bill with the one and only Ms. Lauryn Hill, who will deliver an electric performance alongside her legendary Fugees collaborator Wyclef Jean — a reunion that promises magic.
