South African pop trailblazer Jerusha returns with her new single “Love Is Blind,” the next chapter in her three-part musical journey, The Love Trilogy. The track follows the seductive intensity of “Obsession” and dives deeper into love’s complexity, exploring the emotional blindness that often accompanies passion.
A Global Sound Crafted With Familiar Chemistry
Produced by Vally of Brotherhood Productions, the creative partner behind Jerusha’s chart-toppers “For Life” and “Obsession,” the single blends her R&B and pop foundations with a fresh, global polish. The result is a vibrant track built for repeat listening.
“The Love Trilogy is an adventure through love’s evolution; its passion with ‘Obsession,’ its blindness with ‘Love Is Blind,’ and its devotion with ‘Ti Amo,’” Jerusha explains. “Each chapter explores a different stage of how we love, lose, and grow.”

The music video for “Love Is Blind” continues the narrative where “Obsession” ended. Set in the sunlit streets of Barcelona, it follows Jerusha as she confronts an estranged lover and steps into a renewed sense of clarity and self-worth.
Jerusha made history as the first Indian woman to break into South Africa’s mainstream music scene. Her debut single “Are U the One?” spent six weeks at No.1 on East Coast Radio, and her sophomore album JerushaLem earned a SAMA nomination for Best Pop Album in 2016.
Even during her work on Pfizer’s vaccine rollout in Malaysia, she continued releasing music that uplifted listeners, including “Love Will Get You Through” and “Fire and Ice.”
A New Creative Era for Jerusha
Now based in Southeast Asia, Jerusha returns not to repeat past achievements but to evolve as an artist. The Love Trilogy EP sets the stage for her upcoming third album, which she describes as her most personal and genre-expanding project yet.
