Jaexlynne Releases New Single: “Last in Line”

For rising South African rock star Jaexlynne, rock music isn’t just a genre – it’s her truth. Since breaking onto the scene just over a year ago, she’s been carving her own unapologetic path through the industry.

“Rock isn’t just music to me, it’s my truth. It’s raw, it’s loud, it’s real,” she explains. “There’s no filter, no fake smile, no sugarcoating. It’s me, wide open, pouring every part of my soul out. Rock hits different; it connects in a way nothing else ever could.”

That kind of unfiltered honesty fuels her latest single, “Last In Line” – a blistering anthem that transforms heartbreak into empowerment.

    Turning Pain into Power

“‘Last In Line’ isn’t just a song – it’s my story, my scar, my scream,” Jaexlynne says. “For a long time, I was surrounded by people I trusted, people I would’ve burned my world down for. But I was always the backup plan. I kept putting them first, forgiving them before the blood even dried, while they tore me apart. And they made me believe that was love.”

Co-written with her trusted collaborators Manny and Tyler, the track channels that emotional chaos into pure fire. “Both Manny and Tyler, they never miss,” she says. “They’ve got this insane way of ripping my feelings straight out of my chest and slamming it down on paper. And yeah… they nailed it. Again.”

With its searing vocals, hard-hitting guitars, and visceral lyrics, “Last In Line” captures the essence of Jaexlynne’s artistry – raw, fearless, and completely unfiltered.

As her career gains momentum, Jaexlynne’s refusal to conform is what makes her a standout in the modern rock landscape.

“The more I evolve, the clearer it gets – my heart and soul bleed rock. I can feel it crawling through my veins,” she says. “I’m carving out my own sound, not to fit in, but to tear through the noise.”

Her unapologetic attitude and relentless drive echo through every performance. She isn’t just playing rock – she’s living it, breathing it, and bending it to her will.

    The Storm Is Coming

If there’s one thing Jaexlynne wants fans to know, it’s that she’s just getting started. “What can you expect from me? More. Always more. Louder. Darker. Wilder,” she teases. “I’m done asking for space – I’m taking it. I’m ripping the walls down, breaking every box they tried to shove me in. I’m the storm they didn’t see coming.”

With “Last In Line” now streaming on all major platforms, Jaexlynne stands as one of South Africa’s most electrifying rock voices – a true force of nature blazing her own trail through the chaos.
