Born and raised on a farm in the Western Cape, Elle E’s musical journey began amidst the sounds of nature and short film-making with friends. After immersing herself in London’s vibrant cultural scene, Elle E fell deeply in love with music and performing.
From lo-fi electronica to fiery garage rock, Elle E‘s musical evolution has been marked by rich textures of synth and driving guitar riffs. NME once hailed her as a ‘one woman guitar menace from Cape Town,’ praising her energetic and intense live performances that showcase her enigmatic presence.
