South African singer-songwriter Zinah has released the official music video for her poignant single “We know,” offering a powerful visual counterpart to the track’s raw honesty.
Known for her heartfelt lyricism and unmistakable vocal presence, Zinah delivers a moving portrayal of love, loss, and the fragile space between holding on and letting go.

At its core, “We know” explores the quiet tension of two people who understand a relationship has reached its end, yet neither can summon the strength to walk away. Carried by haunting melodies and aching vulnerability, Zinah captures the bittersweet truth of clinging to something familiar even when it no longer serves us.
The video builds on this emotion, discarding the idea of a neat, linear storyline. Instead, it embraces fragmentation – mirroring the unpredictable way we process conflict and betrayal.
“With ‘We know,’ I wanted to capture something that feels truer than a scripted narrative: the messy, unpredictable way life actually unfolds,” Zinah explains. “It’s about a moment when action collides with reaction in real time – calm and chaos, anger and silence, frustration and restraint, all happening at once. Sometimes silence becomes the loudest response.”
Visually, the music video reflects this inner storm through fractured memories, blurred emotions, and unfiltered glimpses of Zinah’s performance. The result is a piece that refuses easy answers, instead echoing the song’s central themes of heartbreak, release, and eventual self-acceptance.
