Independent artist Ziggy Alberts today has released the music video for his latest single “Heartbeat”. Directed by the ARIA & ACS award-winning Allan Hardy and Josh Weier, this 1940s stylised video unfolds in a picturesque country hall. The uncomplicated feel-good story features subtle ‘Notebook-esque’ undertones and cinematic dance moments, capturing the essence of the “Heartbeat” track – “finding resolution in the common thread of all good things – love” as Ziggy describes.

Upon the single release, “Heartbeat” was premiered on Under the Radar Magazine (US) and Wonderland Magazine (UK) and received praise from Spindle Magazine (UK). In its first week, the single debuted at #20 on the AIR Single Charts for Independent Labels and #20 on the Apple Music Australian Singer-Songwriter chart.
