Following the critical acclaim surrounding their debut studio album No More Can Be Done, South African atmospheric heavy trio P+A+G+E+S have announced their official album release show, set to take place on Saturday, 7 February 2026, at the Masque Theatre in Muizenberg, Cape Town.
An Evening of Dark, Immersive Sound
This one-night-only event will see P+A+G+E+S joined by two compelling and boundary-pushing acts. Audiences can expect the gothic swamp existential blues of Emmaleen Tangleweed with Lliezel Ellick, alongside the haunting, cinematic dreamscapes crafted by Constellatia. Together, the lineup promises a night steeped in atmosphere, tension and emotional depth.

Speaking ahead of the show, P+A+G+E+S shared their excitement: “After months of planning and organizing, we’re really excited to finally put on our album release show with the support of the amazing line-up of Constellatia as well as Emmaleen Tangleweed with Lliezel Ellick.
This will be an evening of dark, emotive expression, with the sounds of swamp goth blues, haunting cinematic dreamscapes, black metal and slow crushing doom.”
The Album Behind P+A+G+E+S’ Big Night
Released on 25 October 2025, No More Can Be Done represents the culmination of years of careful evolution for the trio: Caitlin Mkhasibe on drums, Frank Lunar on bass, and helo samo on guitar, vocals and sampling. Produced by Simon Ratcliffe at Sound & Motion Studios, the album unfolds as a slow-burning meditation on grief, environmental collapse, systemic oppression and perseverance in a world on the brink.
Written between 2019 and 2024, with the disruptions of the pandemic shaping its emotional weight, the record channels global anxiety into stark mantras, spectral vocal textures and crushing, dissonant riffs.
Recorded live in a single room to preserve raw intensity, the album shifts between chaotic noise, mechanical industrial heaviness and monolithic doom. The artwork, created by helo samo, traces the life cycle of a dandelion, a symbol of resilience and survival amid decay.
A Statement of Resistance
Across its five tracks, No More Can Be Done stands as more than an album. It is a statement of resistance and solidarity, urging listeners to confront environmental destruction and to stand firmly alongside BIPOC communities, women, LGBTQI+ individuals, and advocates for human and animal rights.

The Masque Theatre show promises to bring this vision fully to life, translating the album’s weight and intention into an immersive, visceral live experience that lingers long after the final note fades.
