Get Amped! South Africa’s legendary Mango Groove, celebrating 40 years of music, alongside international sensation Alexander Broussard & Band with The Billy Joel Experience are performing at this New Year’s Eve at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden on the 31st of December 2025.

A Night of Legends, Legacy & Celebration
Reaching a milestone few bands ever achieve, Mango Groove return to Kirstenbosch to complete a year of 40th anniversary celebrations. From “Special Star” to “Dance Some More” and “Moments Away,” their marabi-, kwela- and pop-infused sound has been the soundtrack to South African life for four decades.
Reflecting on this moment, Mango Groove lead vocalist Claire Johnston shares“We can’t wait! We kicked off 2025 with our 40th Anniversary Concert at Kirstenbosch, so it seemed fitting that we see in 2026 at the same, gorgeous venue; there really is nowhere else we would rather be! We promise to bring a huge party, something different and an all-in Blast!”
Adding international flair, Alexander Broussard & The Billy Joel Experience will deliver a world-class tribute from the Netherlands, capturing the energy, emotion, and piano brilliance of Billy Joel’s greatest hits. From “Piano Man” to “Uptown Girl” and beyond, the show guarantees a singalong celebration.
