Eight-time nominee and two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning jazz vocalist Gregory Porter, widely regarded as one of the greatest voices of our generation, is returning to South Africa later this year for a highly anticipated three-city arena tour.
Presented by Showtime Management and GRIZA Enterprises, the Love is King SA 2025 Tour kicks off at GrandWest, Cape Town on Saturday, 12 November, moves to DP World Wanderers Cricket Stadium, Johannesburg on Tuesday, 15 November, and concludes at Durban’s ICC on Saturday, 19 November. All shows begin at 20:00.
The tour is proudly partnered with KFM (Cape Town), 947 (Johannesburg), and East Coast Radio (Durban).
“Gregory Porter’s presence—both his commanding voice and heartfelt music—resonates deeply with South African audiences,” says Tony Feldman of Showtime Management. “We’re thrilled to welcome him back and to share his extraordinary talent with fans once again.”
Porter has a long history with South African audiences, having performed at the Joy of Jazz Festival in 2014 and 2015. In January 2023, he embarked on his first solo South African concert tour, selling out all six shows within days.
“For me, music has always been about coming with a humble and honest expression about love and life. South Africa, I’m humbled by your exuberant radiant love,” Gregory Porter shared on X during his 2023 tour. “Two years later, I return with my ‘King of Love’ SA tour — a continued celebration of the incredible people of this nation.”
