2025 has been a year of unstoppable momentum for the SaxbyTwins, and they show no signs of slowing down. Their brand-new single, “Mighty,” has officially dropped—and that’s not all.

The talented brother duo has also been announced as part of the line-up for this year’s Rocking The Daisies festival, a milestone they’ve long dreamed of.

“This has been a childhood dream come true,” they share. “Every artist aspires to perform on the biggest stages, and for us, Rocking The Daisies is a milestone we’ve worked hard to achieve.”

“Mighty”: A Song of Love, Faith, and Healing

“Mighty” represents the next chapter in the SaxbyTwins’ evolving sound. Blending elements of folk, country, and subtle gospel influences, the track is a heartfelt anthem of love, resilience, and faith.

“This song is for anyone who’s waiting, who’s hurt, who’s questioned their worth—and then found that one person or that one moment that made everything make sense,” the duo explains.

The new single follows the success of “We Lit A Match,” which expanded their global reach and landed on Spotify New Music Friday playlists across India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Apple Music also backed the track on their YVNG & Free playlist, spanning 82 countries, including top markets like the USA, UK, and Australia.

With more than 250,000 streams on “We Lit A Match,” the brothers have seen exponential growth in both streams and social engagement. They credit their community of listeners for this success: “Our fans are the heartbeat behind everything we do; they’re the reason we keep creating and sharing our music. At the core, we’re one growing family, united by a shared vision and a deep connection through music.”

SaxbyTwins Expanding Their Footprint: Festivals and Performances

2025 has also seen the SaxbyTwins tick off a number of career firsts. They performed internationally for the first time at a festival in Madeira this past June and more recently joined the line-up for Castle Lager Beer Town, performing at every Springbok home game.

“It has been such an honour for us to get things going for the Bokke!” they say. “Having grown up passionate about sports, this hits home for us.”

Independent Artists Carving Their Own Path

As independent artists, the SaxbyTwins continue to push boundaries in an industry that can be tough to navigate. While they’ve faced doubt along the way, their resilience and determination keep them moving forward.

“I think one of the biggest lessons we’ve learned over the years is to keep pushing forward and never let other people’s opinions define your future,” they explain. “For a long time, we’ve been completely independent—just two brothers with a dream, believing in ourselves, and paving the way for other independent artists coming out of South Africa.”

“Mighty” is available now on all major digital streaming platforms.  Stream/download it HERE.
