Singer, songwriter, and podcaster Jann Klose is set to captivate audiences once again with his rendition of Tim Buckley’s timeless classic, “Song to the Siren.”
The cover (which was released today via KMG Distribution/The Royalty Network) promises to reignite the magic of this legendary track.
Originally featured as the voice of Tim Buckley in the Focus World/Tribeca feature film “Greetings From Tim Buckley,” starring Penn Badgley as Jeff Buckley, Klose’s connection to the song runs deep.
“Song to the Siren” has been a staple of Klose’s live performances for nearly a decade, embodying the essence of Buckley’s profound musical legacy.

Larry Beckett, the song’s lyricist, will join Jann on Episode 111 of his podcast “Making Sound with Jann Klose” on May 3rd, marking the release day of the cover. Beckett, renowned for his collaboration with Tim Buckley, expresses his admiration for Klose’s rendition, affirming the enduring allure of the song.
