South African DJ and producer DJ KingMaster SA (real name Mlondolozi Nkululeko Msomi) makes his return with a striking new single, “I Do Believe” – a soulful Afro House and Amapiano-infused track rooted in survival, ancestral protection, and the will to live.
Written and performed by Durban-based vocalist and lyricist Sea Black (Sphesihle Nene), “I Do Believe” tells the gripping true story of his near-death encounters with a local gang over deeply personal disputes.

After surviving multiple life-threatening attacks, Sea Black found clarity and strength in his ancestral connection – a realization that shaped the track’s central message: survival is never just coincidence.
The single came together in an almost fated way during an early morning studio session in KwaMashu.
“It was a Sunday around 4 AM when a melody came to me,” shares DJ KingMaster SA. “I laid down the piano chords and rhythm, then went back to sleep. When I woke up, I finished the beat. That same day, Sea Black walked into the studio, heard the track, and without hesitation began writing and recording. It all happened in flow — nothing forced.”
DJ Kingmaster SA is blending styles & telling stories
Known for blending Afro House, Amapiano, jazz, and traditional Zulu rhythms, DJ KingMaster SA has carved out a signature sound defined by mellow basslines, smooth piano melodies, and mid-tempo grooves (100–120 BPM). His music often leans into instrumental storytelling, allowing the melody to carry as much weight as the lyrics.
“I Do Believe” marks DJ KingMaster SA’s first solo single since 2022, when he collaborated with Netherlands-based vocalist Sariah Mansoer. In the time since, he’s featured on a number of international collaborations, including The Way with Moroccan artist Lou Elise, and a recent joint release with Mzee Vocalist.
“I want to create music that connects across borders, music that speaks to people from all walks of life,” says DJ KingMaster SA. “This track is a celebration of spiritual resilience — of knowing you’re protected even in your darkest hour.”
