Colin Scott comments on “Red Orange”
“I wrote Red Orange one morning in Moscow. I was on tour there as a classical singer but was inspired by the views of the colourful autumn trees from the view of my hotel window. I wrote Red Orange as a pop song, instead of in the classical style I was there to perform. It will be the first of many contemporary singles I plan to release”
Colin Scott’s journey in the world of music began as a young male soprano when he graced big stages showcasing his talent at prestigious events including the Ge’ Korsten Tribute and Kersfees Skouspel. His classical music training has nurtured his voice and endowed him with a deep understanding of music that surpasses his years, enabling him to craft songs rich in raw emotion with undeniable skill.
A musician to the core, Colin Scott’s life pulsates to the rhythm of song and his performances promise to captivate audiences with a unique blend of entertainment and passion. His songwriting transports listeners, offering a brief escape from the demands of daily life into a world of music that resonates with emotions and feelings.
