South African Thrashers Truth Decayed have unleashed “Vicious Circles” (the 3rd Single from their new EP Faded,Visions II). This captures the sound of Truth Decayed‘s most solid and cohesive lineup to date. It has become somewhat of an anthem at live shows, and features Lilitu Caprinae from South African Blackened Death Titans Theatre Runs Red.

Truth Decayed is a South African metal band formed during the early 2020 lockdown. The group, consisting of talented musicians gathered by founders Warren Jones and Ryno Theron, quickly gained attention by winning competitions and receiving critical acclaim for their debut single “Modern Day Illusion” and EP of the same name. In 2021, they represented South Africa in international online festivals and received radio play on notable stations.
In 2022, Truth Decayed released Faded Visions I, including singles like “PTSD” and “Faded Visions”, which garnered critical acclaim and a premiere with Metal Injection. They continued to make waves in the South African music scene. In 2023, they are set to release Faded Visions II, with “Death By Design” and “Narcissist” as singles, receiving positive reviews.
