In case you forgot (or if you did not know) Sum 41 and The Used played at Oppikoppi 2011 – and I was there to photograph them both.
More info about Sum 41
Canadian Rock band Sum 41 actually started out as a NOFX cover band named “Kaspir”. The band decided to change their name for a show on September 28, 1996 (which also happened to be the 41st day of summer or 41st day of July). That’s how the was born.
To date the band have released 7 studio albums. Their most recent album release was in 2019.

This edition of Oppikoppi was called “Unknown Brother”. This was the first Oppikoppi that I photographed in a photo pit.
This was my 11th Oppikoppi and I still remember waiting for The Used to finish their set so I can photograph Sum 41.
Their set I was very energetic and memorable. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about their set. I snapped this photo during their set and it has been selected as the Photo Of The Week on SA Music Zone.
