Great news! Shortstraw have finally released a music video for their song “Couch Potato”. This track happens to be one of my favorite tracks off the “Good Morning, Sunshine” album and is always a favorite with crowds watching this awesome band perform at festivals and other good music venues around South Africa.
Without a doubt, they’re one of our country’s most amazing live acts – they are almost guaranteed to bring a smile to your music-loving face.
More info about Shortstraw’s latest video
This video features D$tyles waking up, taking his morning pee, drinking a glass of milk, playing a game that looks like Space Invaders, getting dressed up in his blue track-suit, dodging / engaging some “dweebs”, randomly doing his dance at interesting locations, having a Black Label or three, attempting to chat up some ladies, venturing into a tavern, hooking up with a DJ-chick, stealing a bottle of alcohol at the tavern, attending a Shortstraw show and crowd surfing.
Now, I know that all that sounds like a mouthful – and yes stealing a bottle of booze is wrong, but it’s a bloody awesome video. It’s one of the better ones that I’ve seen in 2013. If you don’t believe me, check it out below
