Displaying a rich and versatile vocal tone as a singer, and accomplishment as a guitarist, JHB’s Ross Harding is known for his fusion of blues and hard rock with strong elements of classic rock, 90’s alternative, grunge.
Today sees the release of his new single and video, “Rest”, taken from his upcoming EP Rest & Resurrection out on the 14th January 2022 via Mongrel Records. “Rest” is the second single from the album after “Resurrection” dropped on the 15th October.
Ross Harding explains
“Rest is Chapter II of the EP, if you will, with Resurrection being Chapter I The song is about just that – finding peace after war, finding the light after a dark time.”
“It’s as vulnerable as I’ve ever been in a song, which was daunting for me. I’m not hiding behind many metaphors or poetic license here. I had to really drop my guard and just allow myself to release the song. It’s a song about hope, strength, and the reward at the end of it all.”
