British-born country singer-songwriter Phil Gregory returns with his latest single, “Number On My Mind.”

“Number On My Mind” dives into the heated passion of a couple swept up in lust rather than love. Gregory explains,
“It’s about a couple who can’t get enough of each other. I imagine them growing old together, but for now, they’re lost in that exhilarating phase of lust.”

Building on the Success of Botley Drive
This release follows the success of Botley Drive, a nostalgic EP inspired by Gregory’s childhood home in Portsmouth, UK, which has received widespread radio play. While Botley Drive celebrates the carefree moments of youth, Gregory’s latest single adds a modern twist, capturing the emotional currents of lust and love.

Since his 2020 full-length album Good Intentions, which featured the chart-topping single “Names,” and his 2022 EP 22 Not Out, with hits like “Movin’ On” and “Holding Candles,” Phil Gregory has become a regular on South African airwaves. His creative partnership with his nephew Billy Gregory of the UK band Crystal Tides pushes the boundaries of country music, blending timeless themes with contemporary flair.
