Parable Fifteen, the illustrious melodic rock sensation hailing from the heart of Durban, South Africa announce the release of their newest single and video “Overkill”.

Often touted as the next big thing, Parable Fifteen is a Durban-based band comprising of four musicians who consider themselves family. Described as “Rock” / “Country Rock” Parable Fifteen began their journey in 2010.
Band members, Marc Skarda (Vocals), Adam Fanner (Guitar), Bryce Breeds (Bass Guitar) and Marius Botha (Drums) – combine their various individual tastes and styles to create a sound that is both nostalgic and fresh.
Each member is an accomplished artist in their own right. Breaking records in 2021 with four Top 10 charting songs. Parable Fifteen was the only South African Band to have three singles in the Top 50 songs of the year.
2020 saw the release of Parable Fifteen’s third full-length album, Bioluminescence, following the success of the first song they put out to the public of that same year. “Telling your heart’s” lyric video achieved over 65K+ organic views on YouTube and over 18K+ on Facebook in a matter of weeks.
The band signed a record deal with Just Music and in September released “You And Me” to the radio, as the first single with 3 more singles throughout the year, with great success on the local radio chart:
1. “Telling Your Heart (Remix)” No.1 on the SA Top 40.
2. “You and Me” No. 3 on the SA Top 40 charts.
3. “Firefly” No. 5 on the SA Top 40.
4. “Tattoos” No. 6 on the SA Top 40 Charts.
The band went out in 2022 with great sponsors like Bothners Musical Instruments, Harley Davidson Durban and Rockstar Energy with both Bothners Musical Instruments and Rockstar Energy teaming up with the band for 2023 where the band will be touring fan favourites off of Bioluminescence as well as songs off of their fourth full-length album Within The Margin of Error (released in December 2022).
The new songs not only inspire but are derived from life experience and host a winning combination of vibrant energy and a host of intriguing melodies which cannot be pinned to any specific genre, experimenting with an eclectic mix of alternative, melodic anthemic, country and rock.
In any context, Parable Fifteen’s audiences experience the band’s music in ways that are dually intuitive and physical, as their music seeks to stimulate the musically-minded while also providing those merely seeking a good time with a good reason to party.
Along with the release of Parable Fifteen’s album Within The Margin Of Error, the band teamed up with sponsors Cascades Lifestyle Centre, Athlone Circle, Bothners Musical Instruments and Rockstar Energy ZA to bring a behind the scenes documentary series Outside The Lines. The Series gave fans a snippet into the making of their fourth full-length album.
