“Fight the Feeling” is the 5th video and single taken from Oooth’s 2021 SAMA (South African Music Awards) nominated album Nothing’s Gonna Change. This guitar driven rock anthem sees the band realising they’re not the young punks they used to be.
Jason Oosthuizen explains “Fight The Feeling”
“I think this song can resonate with most people our age, the 30 to 40’s where we think back to our younger/ wilder years of partying, meeting new people every time and embracing our youth, but now we are in a transition phase of wanting more out of life, becoming more responsible and looking towards the future. We all want to party like there is no tomorrow, but we also want to become the best version of ourselves and don’t want that feeling of growth and aspirations to go away.”
Jason Oosthuizen comments on the video
“We decided to go with a neon-light fast-paced concept of the band playing all dressed in white with white instruments to match that of the fun and fast-paced song.”
