Iconic British rock band Oasis has announced their highly anticipated reunion, scheduling a tour for 2025. The 14-date UK tour is set to begin on July 4, 2025, at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
The band revealed the news through their official website and social media channels, with brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher confirming, “This is it, this is happening.”
Oasis stated that the reunion decision was made collectively, feeling the timing was right
Additional international dates may be added later in the year, according to the band’s hints. This reunion coincides with the 30th anniversary of Oasis‘ debut album, Definitely Maybe, released in 1994. The album, featuring hits like “Live Forever” and “Supersonic,” launched the band to stardom.
Despite their tumultuous history, both Gallagher brothers had previously expressed openness to a reunion. In 2023, Noel suggested Liam should initiate contact, while Liam claimed in early 2024 that Noel had declined an earlier tour offer.
2025 also marks 30 years since the release of (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, Oasis‘ second album, which includes fan favorites such as “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”
The band’s last studio album, Dig Out Your Soul, was released in 2008, shortly before Noel’s departure in 2009 due to difficulties working with Liam. Since then, both brothers have pursued successful solo careers.
As Oasis prepares to reunite, fans are excited for the opportunity to experience the band’s unique musical journey once again.
No dates have been announced for South Africa yet, but let’s hold thumbs. Remember: It can’t be a world tour if the band (or artists) doesn’t visit at least one country in Africa.
