After nearly two decades of working behind the scenes as a producer, Afro-Soul artist Nybosse is stepping into the spotlight with his heartfelt new single, “NgiHappy Ngawe,” which translates to “I’m happy with you.”
Known for his signature blend of soulful and jazzy sounds that bridge generations, Nybosse is now sharing his musical love letter with the world, capturing the hearts of hopeless romantics everywhere.
Inspired by the beauty of love and the joy of celebration, Nybosse envisioned a song that couples could cherish—whether unwinding at home or dancing at their wedding.
“I wanted to write something that restores faith in love, especially in a time when many believe it’s fading,” he shares. “This song is a tribute to love and its transformative power when nurtured with respect and care.”
With a sound that fuses smooth melodies, jazz influences, and youthful vibrancy, Nybosse’s music resonates across generations. “My style is soulful, jazzy, and carries a youthful spirit—it’s music for everyone,” he explains.
“NgiHappy Ngawe” marks Nybosse’s transition from a behind-the-scenes producer to a solo artist. Though he has collaborated with talents like Fire Mavela on “Call Me” and worked with DJ Cutman, Kwenza Bhengu, Msizylee, and others, this release is his first official step into the limelight.

Born in the village of KwaMafunze in Pietermaritzburg, Nybosse’s love for music began in high school, where he wrote songs and sang with friends. His journey led him to his first studio recording in 2007 and performances in community halls as part of GMTex.
Over the years, he honed his craft as a producer, working with artists across various genres, including house, hip hop, gospel, and maskandi.
After relocating to Soweto in 2020, he worked as a producer at Power FM, collaborating with high-profile artists under major labels.
Yet, the desire to share his own music never faded. Now, he’s making that dream a reality with “NgiHappy Ngawe”—a debut single soon to be accompanied by a music video airing on major channels nationwide.
Looking ahead, Nybosse is eager to expand his musical journey, with plans for an album and more music videos later this year. “I’m excited for what’s to come,” he says. “This project has fueled my creativity, and I hope it touches listeners who appreciate genuine, heartfelt music.”
