Matthew Mole is back! Today he drops the first from his nest-egg of fresh new tracks in the form of the powerful love song, “I’m With You”.
Never been shy to wear his heart on his sleeve and process his thoughts through song, Matthew not only delivers a track that hits all the feels lyrically and musically, but showcases his voice in ways that he hasn’t traditionally pushed to this degree before too.
Crafted with love at the core of the message, the track oozes spiritual sensibilities that delivers a natural high almost instantly. With his signature loop-and-acoustic sound combo at the foundation, the track simply breaths initially, building with pacing and emotion that, alongside his powerful falsetto melodies, eventually explodes into pure pop heaven.
After three successful albums, a live release, global touring and a slew of successful local shows, he continues to surprise fans with music that is fresh whilst still staying true to the Matthew Mole sound. With COVID-19 taking such a strong hold on the performing arts, Matthews tours have been cancelled for almost two years running, seeing him re-focusing his creativity internally and using the internet as a communication tool. I am really digging “I’m With You” and I’m predicting that this song will be played a lot on SA’s radio stations for the remainder of 2021. It’s one of the coolest tracks that I’ve heard from a local artist this year.
