Following the huge success of the 2023 festival, the Department of Arts, Culture, Sports, and Recreation in the North West Province has announced the 2024 edition of Mahika Mahikeng.
Last December, over 41,000 music lovers filled Mmabatho Stadium, and this year promises to welcome even more cultural enthusiasts to the heart of the North. From December 5th to 8th, 2024 the stadium will once again come alive with music, art, and food, creating an unforgettable cultural experience.
The people of Mahikeng are eager to host visitors for this iconic festival, celebrated for its motswako sounds and the economic boost it brings to Bokone Bophirima. With music at its core, Mahika Mahikeng is not just a festival; it’s a celebration of North West’s heritage, growth, and musical brilliance that has earned it global recognition.
