The Latest Compilation Mix, ‘Sky Heaven Nights with Jay Music,’ embodies the Deep, Global Amapiano sound Renowned international DJ and platinum Amapiano producer, Jay Music, has been making waves since the launch of his Lockdown extended playlist (EP) in 2020.
His breakthrough into the Amapiano scene and subsequent acclaim from fans came with the release of the hit track, Trip Sessions. The track ‘Fxcking Injury’ featuring Mellow-and-Sleazy inadvertently went viral on TikTok, propelling Jay Music into digital stardom with over 4 million views to date.
This happened while he was gearing up for the release of his compilation mix named after live mixes called ‘Sky Heaven Nights with Jay Music.’

Hailing from Jeffrey’s Bay in the Eastern Cape, Jaydene Coetzee (aka Jay Music) relocated to Port Elizabeth to pursue studies in Music and Composition at Boston Campus.
Following his graduation, Jay’s musical endeavours were recognised by industry stalwarts like Uncle Waffles and Mellow-and-Sleazy. In 2023, Jay Music moved to Johannesburg and signed with Sky Heaven record company.
He recorded his EP, ‘Deep Grove Vol. 1’ and embarked on a successful tour of the UK and Europe, showcasing his music at clubs across the continents.
With the release of the first single ‘Wena,’ featuring Jimmy Maradona, Babygirlmint, and Cand Flow RSA from the upcoming ‘Sky Heaven Nights’ EP on platforms like Deeser, Audio Mac, Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube on 30 April, the club scene is poised to ignite with the rich sounds of deep Amapiano infused with Hip-Hop elements. Jay Music’s lovable demeanor is as much a part of his brand as his music.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Maphorisa, Mike WiLL Made-It, Black Coffee, and Skrillex, his passion for travel sets him apart as a South African-born DJ and producer catering to a global audience.
Through his evocative Amapiano sound, Jay Music invites listeners to immerse themselves in the emerging global nightlife movement.
